What is it?
“One Night Only” is a unique teambuilding concept in which the daytime activities become the evening’s entertainment for the group. With this concept the participants, not only experience a challenging and rewarding daytime activity but in the evening, they also get to be entertained by their colleagues - and take the spotlight as performers themselves! This means that in addition to the benefits a successful team-building concept delivers, it also provides exceptional value for money, because there is no need to book further entertainment for the evening.
How does it work?
Participants are split into groups and take part in one of the following activities. Corporate Song
Participants are taught a new song especially-written for their company - by one of our professional musical facilitators. They will have to learn and perform the song in the style of the famous “Band Aid” recordings with 3 or 4 solo singers featured. The group then performs this during dinner.
Close-up Magic
The group is taught to perform some simple but very entertaining close-up magic tricks by a top international magician. With a little guidance from the magician, they must then develop their own entertaining story or “patter” to go with the trick. In the evening the participants perform their close-up tricks for their colleagues during the aperitif and do some “table-hopping” throughout dinner at the tables.
The Music Game
For this activity participants take part in a very interactive music quiz-game run by one of our professional hosts. The 2 teams with the highest score during the day, get to “battle it out” and compete against each other onstage during dinner, in a mini version (10 minutes) of the Music Game.
30-second video commercial
This group is challenged to make a 30 second video commercial for their company. Each team is given a video camera and must create an idea for the advert. The participants have to work together as a team to bring all the elements together such as props, dialogue and, performance into a finished commercial. For this activity a professional video-producer will coach and help the teams. At the end of the daytime activity the videos are professionally edited and then shown in the evening during dinner.
With this innovative team-building concept, participants are given a unique opportunity to explore new, creative challenges and to step outside of their traditional everyday roles, into the spotlight for… “One Night Only”.
