Write your own original song - melody and lyrics - as a team, then create your own choreography, and perform it live onstage in the evening during the banquet. It could be a company song or an advertising “jingle” for one of the company products. This unique team-building concept gives groups a rewarding opportunity to work together towards a shared goal using their creative, artistic and musical abilities - which we all have. How it works
This is not just re-writing some new lyrics to an existing well-known song and then singing the words along to a karaoke track. Our professional musical coaches work with each group to help them actually write their own original tune. They then create the lyrics to this new melody which they themselves have composed. It’s this element of writing your own tune which makes the concept much more of a creative activity and therefore more interesting, challenging and rewarding. Different members in the group are able to work on the various aspects of the task - some on the melody, some on the text and others focussing on creating their own dance routine. To start with each group is given a backing track (with no melody) in a different musical style. They then have to come up with their own melody to “sing over the top” of the backing track. The various musical genres include country, disco, reggae, rock’n roll, and latin together with other styles and appropriate “outfits” are provided to complement the evening stage performance.
This unique team-building concept is not only a creative, challenging, and fun daytime activity but it also generates its own “entertainment” for the evening’s social get-together or banquet. This gives the whole day continuity and can also cut down the entertainment costs!
